THERMAL INSULATION GROUP
DEFINATION
Expanded polystyrene hard foam (EPS-Expanded Polystyrene Hard Foam) is a typically white color heat insulating material in foam form, having thermoplastic closed porous structure obtained from petroleum. EPS is obtained as a result of blowing of polystyrene particles with pentane gas and agitating with steam. Pentane changes places with the air in a short time after providing formation of many numbers of small pores. By this way the still air is trapped inside the many numbers of (3-6 billion in 1m3 EPS) small covered porous cells.

It is the most economic, environment friendly and excellent heat insulation material which is known as still air. EPS which is one of the few materials in the world is the only material that can provide the same performance with other heat insulating materials. It doesn’t cause material waste and unnecessary cost increases because it may be produced in desired density.
